Thanks to all the parents who came to play this week! We had a great time. We kicked open the construction barricade by practicing measuring. Mr. Sellmeyer helped us measure our bodies using links as a measuring standard. We worked on counting by 5’s at the bean raft station with Mrs. Axsom. Eli G’s mom helped dictate Ryan’s Star of the Week book and helped us make “Thank You” cards for Fr. Timothy and Fr. Tom for CSW. Ryan’s mom played “Healthy Hurdles” with us, in which we had to build healthy meals. And Mr. Elliot took us on a hunt around the school as we practiced “tallying” up all the building elements around the school.

Happy Groundhog's Day!
We celebrated the big holiday by making groundhog puppets, that popped out of their holes. Did they see their shadows? Watch to see if they go back into their holes.
We even had a special guest, Lomar, Mrs. Cissell's stuffed groundhog friend, join us for the day.
Mrs. Cissell was NOT happy to hear we have 6 more weeks of winter.
BLAH!!!!!!!
